The Chattanooga Auction House Consignment Info
Consignments are accepted the first week of each month post-auction starting on Wednesday. We operate on a first come first serve basis so if you have any interest in consigning to the auction, be sure to contact us as soon as possible post-auction or, the month prior to make sure we have time to begin processing you as a consignor. Also, it's not advisable to just 'show-up' without making an appointment 24 hours in advance. Given that we operate on a month to month basis, every week is important, therefore, we need all consignments to be in to us within the first two weeks of each month. Consignments are accepted from Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment.
This allows us the opportunity to clean, photograph, do any minor repairs that we can, organize and then lot the items for auction. Additionally, we help establish realistic goals for the items to be sold and perform the actual sale. Auction is a great alternative to selling your merchandise through the classified ads.
We accept drop-offs and in cases where it is necessary we do have the ability to pick-up merchandise for auction. When considering what items are available for us to auction (we do not offer a blanket acceptance), our "next auction highlights" is a great reference but if further assistance is still needed, or if you need commission rates, just give us a call and speak directly to one of us.
